How to get quaaludes

Quaaludes is the former brand name for methaqualone, a sedative-hypnotic drug. They became especially famous in the 1960s–70s and are associated with the disco era.

Effects: relaxation, drowsiness, reduced anxiety, impaired coordination, and euphoria. At higher doses, people can become extremely sedated or unconscious.
Risks: impaired judgment, accidents, respiratory depression, coma, and potentially death from overdose.
Dependence: regular use can produce tolerance and physical dependence, and withdrawal can be dangerous.
Mixing: Combining methaqualone with alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or other depressants can greatly increase the risk of respiratory depression and fatal overdose.
Legal status: Genuine pharmaceutical methaqualone is no longer routinely marketed in the United States and is a controlled substance in many countries.

A lot of what is sold today as Quaaludes or “ludes” is not actually methaqualone. Counterfeit pills may contain entirely different substances, making them particularly unpredictable.
